Open Play Reading

Open Play Reading

Something deeply meaningful happened to me on Monday night.
For the first time, one of my plays was read at the Playwrights’ Center’s monthly Open Play gathering.
Saying that I’m moved doesn’t even begin to cover it.
I don’t quite know how to explain what this means to me, but I do know it’s just the beginning of a long-desired path.
New things are coming.
Beautiful projects.
This reading was only the beginning.
Endless thanks to the Playwrights’ Center for opening the doors of their home to me,
and thank you, dear Carlyle, for believing in me and in this work.
Thank you to my dear friend Reyna and my love, Paul, for being there with me. And to everyone who attended with interest and curiosity for this work.
