This Monday we held the open showcase of the course “Acting in Spanish”, and it was a true celebration.
From the very beginning, I knew this project was ambitious , not only because I dared to create a space I felt was needed, but also because it was designed for actors and actresses with experience.
The result was a small, solid, and radiant group: performers who brought their experience, rigor, and passion, giving life to this artistic and pedagogical project.
It was a beautiful closing – full of energy, talent, and love for theatre – where we also honored the Spanish language: the language we inhabit, that names us, and unites us.
Our goal is to keep going, to grow, to expand.
This is only the beginning of a long journey , one where actors and actresses will be able to inhabit the stage in their native language and bring to life works from the vast and universal Spanish-speaking repertoire.
